The Constant Walker
TIME WINS
A man once asked of Time,
"Why is it that I always lose?"
And Time replied, through frost and rime:
"Whether sunshine glows or shadows fall,
Through
the deepest night or the rain’s cold call,
No matter how bitter the wind may blow,
I never
falter; I simply go.
I keep my pace, I keep my stride,
With nowhere to linger and nowhere to hide.
That is the secret to how I win:
I never
stop, I never give in.
If you wish to triumph, then walk with me—
And a loser you shall never be."
