Echoes that linger

Echoes that linger

Snaps can be deleted,

Phone numbers erased,

By distance we departed,

Moments quietly displaced.

No conversation carried,

Yet time still lingers near—

Those shared smiles remembered,

The laughter we held dear.

Echoes of joy remain,

 Imprinted on my mood,

Like a sudden flash of light,

 Showering me with gratitude.
